Ref: PTR09/612 Location: Cornwall / Algeria Description: Search and Rescue pilots with Nigh Vision experience required for 2 yr fixed term contract in the UK and North Africa Salary: £65k plus full relocation package and benefits Possibly one of the most challenging and unusual opportunities that the team at Premier Technical have been retained to recruit for, but a genuine opportunity nonetheless suiting specific experience and offering exception benefits. Our globally renowned client is part of a multinational group of world class engineering companies, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, are implementing a Search and Rescue aircrew training programme targeted at recruiting the cream of experienced ex military QHIs/QHCIs/QAIs/QOIs. The posts will involve providing type conversion and SAR training fro pilots and aircrewmen on SuperLynx and AW101 as part of a major contract with a foreign customer, and successful candidates will initially be based at RNAS Culdrose and then in Algeria (4 weeks in North Africa, 2 weeks in the UK rotating for the period of the 2 year fixed terms project). Suitably qualified applicants will demonstrate experience on Lynx, AW101 or Sea King aircraft as well as experience of the Search and Rescue role and of operating with night vision goggles – and essentially will hold at least a B1 instructional category and pilots will have a minimum of 2000 hrs.
