As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated and accomplished Mechanical Engineer to compliment their existing team of engineering professionals. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will be able to demonstrate experience of providing specialist mechanical engineering expertise essential in the design and build of packaging machinery in order to ensure customer requirements are achieved. You will be tasked with providing innovative engineering solutions from concept through to commissioning stage, preparing associated mechanical design and test specifications, and supervising the mechanical function on machine builds whether in-house or carried out by contractors. Additionally, you will be responsible for the production of mechanical documentation, i.e. parts list, manufacturing drawings and associated bill of materials, and liaise extensively with customers and suppliers at all stages of a project including test, installation and commissioning when required. You will have achieved a relevant engineering qualification, possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to demonstrate a range of design, build or test experience, and most importantly, be seeking an opportunity with a progressive organization that will empower and develop you over time.
