Description: Mechanical Designers required for aerospace structure design

Salary: to £40,000 plus benefits<strong> Mechanical Design Engineers – Lancashire – to £40k + benefits</strong>

Our client is a world renowned engineering consultancy, employing more than 9,000 people across the globe and having a presence in more than 15 countries. With an annual turnover in excess of £400m, they work on a consultancy basis with various engineering and technical sectors that include Aerospace, Automotive and Nuclear clients for both Defence and Energy applications.

As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and accomplished Mechanical Design Engineers to compliment an established multifunctional team tasked with both primary and secondary aero-structures design.

To be considered for these exciting and challenging opportunities, successful candidates will demonstrate at least 5 years design experience allied to the Aerospace sector, specifically Aero-structures experience with knowledge and experience of composites proving to be distinctly advantageous.

Additionally you will demonstrate extensive experience in the use of CATIA V4 or preferably V5 and some form of Product Manager system eg PM, VPM, Metaphase, PRIMES etc. You will ideally be degree qualified and seeking a permanent position within a technically demanding and challenging environment offering genuine career progression and an exceptional benefits package.
