As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to deliver bespoke automation solutions within a highly professional and dedicated design team. Utilising the SolidEdge design package, you will work within a state of the art technology environment delivering multiple bespoke automation solutions to a diverse range of market sectors on systems ranging from £50k to £1m at a time. To be considered for this key post, it is essential that the successful candidate is able to demonstrate proven project design skills and ideally a background that has allowed considerable exposure to PLC controlled and multi axis Robotic systems within any manufacturing environment. With an average of five or six £250k+ projects operational at any one time, strong organizational and communication skills are obviously essential in order to achieve success in this position.
