Ref #:PTR08/334 Location: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire Description: Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers - Facilities Salary: to £27k plus benefits Our client is renowned as a global market leader in the supply of bespoke materials handling solutions for a diverse range of applications, and as a result of continued success and a planned program of strategic growth, the company are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and self motivated Site Engineering professional to compliment their existing team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the existing site team in ensuring that all equipment is maintained to a high level and that the system delivers the required demands in terms of availability and uptime. Additionally, Health and Safety, QA, customer interface and systems support issues are all part of the role so experience in these key areas will be distinctly advantageous.
You will be responsible for carrying out preventative, reactive and operational support activities with company products and systems in response to customer requirements, and will therefore demonstrate efficient communication skills in order to communicate with the customer in a clear and concise manner in order to address issues accordingly, and will conduct routine maintenance on a range of conveyor systems, monitoring the operation and ensuring any stoppages are dealt with promptly.
Additionally, you will assist the site manager with any Health and Safety issues which may arise, whilst being responsible for the maintenance of both conveyor systems and a Warehouse Control system, providing shift cover over 5 Days with occasional weekend work in addition to both servicing and repairing Heating, Lighting, Ventilation, Electrics, Air Conditioning, Building Management System, Pneumatics, Racking, Fire Alarms and Sprinkler systems.
To be considered for this challenging and diverse role, you will essentially be an electrically biased (and possessing relevant qualifications) multidiscipline engineer who is able to work at heights and as part of a team or autonomously when required.
