Description: Enthusiastic Planning Controller required for a busy Raw Materials department within a global operation.
Salary: to £26k neg dep exp
Our client has been established for almost 30 years and provide both services and products on a truly global scale. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of continuous improvement and strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated and enthusiastic Planning Controller to complement their established and successful Raw Materials planning team.
Based in a prestigious Head Office environment, the successful Planning Controller will be an analytical individual with a good knowledge of production processes to join the Raw Material Planning Team, ensuring the timely, efficient and cost effective supply of raw materials into manufacturing sites, supporting the efficient production of feed.
You'll be responsible for the planning of the supply of raw materials into manufacturing sites based on production demand, stock levels and capacity information, and will provide a good and efficient standard of customer service to the company’s internal stakeholders through positive communication.
You'll also coordinate extensively with suppliers and hauliers to arrange fixings, confirm delivery instructions and manage delivery exceptions whilst building strong relationships with your contacts, and will work collaboratively with members of the procurement team to manage purchase contract call-offs, actively administering contract balances, providing visibility of significant changes in requirements.
Additionally, you'll investigate and resolve any supplier invoice queries, and will closely interact and forge relationships with manufacturing sites across the country, so effective communication and influencing skills at all levels are essential for the position, and you will also assist in the management of site stocks and stock variance controls as required.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a meticulous and focussed Planning Controller to join an established and highly successful global organisation committed to the highest levels of customer satisfaction and quality of product.
