Salary: to £40k neg dep exp + car + bonusOur client specialise in the provision of condition monitoring and reliability services within a diverse range of manufacturing environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated Technical Sales Engineer to complement the activities of an established and successful team.
With customer sites based throughout the UK, they enhance the effectiveness of clients’ maintenance organisations and departments through the development and implementation of various reliability strategies and techniques, and are looking to identify a suitably experienced Product Sales Engineer with previous experience of Condition Monitoring, Laser Alignment, Oil Analysis and Sampling or Vibration Analysis experience to sell such solutions to a range of clients across the country.
In addition to proactive business development and existing account management activities, the successful candidate will additionally work closely with the Internal Sales and marketing team in order to devise and implement dynamic marketing strategies and present the company’s products to prospective customers, handling product demonstrations and presentations when required and responding to technical questions as necessary.
You will be responsible for qualifying opportunities, validating technical requirements and providing product recommendations as appropriate as well as responding efficiently to RFI’s and RFP’s, engaging appropriate internal resources in order to help close opportunities and following up with prospective customers during the evaluation phase.
To be considered for this varied and extremely challenging and rewarding role, it is envisaged that you will be Degree educated or equivalent in a Mechanical Engineering discipline and possess relevant experience gained within a technical sales environment. You will be able to demonstrate experience of successful lead generation, supplier liaison and marketing activities and be comfortable in working both autonomously and as part of a team, and IT proficient and familiar with CMMS, MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
