Description: Multi skilled Field Service professionals required to undertake PPM and reactive maintenance work on a fleet of MHE and FLT equipment in the Southern region.
Salary: to c£28500 + van + generous benefits package
Our client has been established for more than half a century and specialise in the design, manufacture and service of a range of materials handling and forklift truck solutions for supply across the globe. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit a number of experienced and enthusiastic multi skilled Field Service Engineers to complement their established and successful team.
Reporting to the Field Service Manager, successful candidates will conduct both planned preventative and reactive service and repair activities at customer sites across their “patch” within the Southern region whilst complying with relevant Health and Safety and quality requirements, utilising skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic to ensure complete customer satisfaction and the prompt resolution of technical issues.
Other responsibilities will include ensuring the van stock is controlled and sufficient for the day to day maintenance of the fleet, carrying out inspections and monitoring the safety of the repaired and maintained trucks, and both promptly and accurately completing job sheets, timesheets and purchase requisition and parts paperwork as required whilst taking responsibility for all equipment and tooling (including van/laptop/tablet etc.) and ensuring that it is in a safe condition for the type of work being undertaken.
As this is a customer facing role, essentially you will demonstrate exceptional communication skills at all levels and possess the ability to work independently as well as in part of a team and be able to consistently work to a high standard within often pressurised timescale requirements.
You will essentially hold a full UK driving licence and demonstrate at least 3 years’ previous experience in a multi skilled fault find and repair environment, along with relevant engineering qualifications and experience of working to relevant H&S requirements.
In return, an attractive remuneration package, company van and fuel card, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, an extensive and generous “rewards” scheme and a company pension scheme are on offer for suitably motivated and experienced individuals.
