Description: Exciting opportunity for a VA Level 2 qualified Vibration specialist to develop and grow a specialist services division within the reliability arm of an established and highly successful consultancy.
Salary: to c£45k neg dep exp + benefits
Our client specialises in the provision of condition monitoring and reliability services within a diverse range of manufacturing environments, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly self-motivated and experienced Product Manager to complement their established and successful team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to lead and develop the use of new motion amplification technology used in visualising vibration problems, initially operating as the main point of delivery for the service before growing this side of the specialist services division under the reliability engineering arm of the business and growing a team around them.
This is genuinely a rare opportunity for a suitably experienced individual who is perhaps limited in terms of the progression available to them in their current role to truly demonstrate what they are capable of and share in the success and rewards of the business as this specialised service offering develops into its’ own profit centre.
To be considered for this varied and challenging role, you will essentially demonstrate skills and experience in a maintenance role and/or condition monitoring role, and will be qualified to at least Vibration Analysis Va Level 2 with experience of both modal and phase vibration.
It is envisaged that you will be degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical discipline, with excellent IT and communication skills (both written and verbal) for a customer facing role and previous project management experience.
Standard working hours apply for the role (Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm) although you will need to be flexible to work hours to suit client needs, and there could be very occasional shift, weekend or overseas work if required.
